After a hard fought, disappointing loss yesterday to the Victoria Grizzlies, the Clippers will look to get back on the win column when they take on the Alberni Valley Bulldogs today at 1 p.m. This will be the first meeting between the teams in the Island Division Pod season.
The Clippers and Bulldogs are tied with 8 points in 7 games each, but the Clippers are in second place having 4 regulation time wins.
Associate coach Colin Birkas commented on the weekend games, “Hard fought game last night. We out chanced them, but couldn’t bury our chances. That’s hockey. Need that same focus and attitude heading into today to leave with a weekend split.”
The Clippers next game is Tuesday against the same Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
