EVAN DEBROUWER TRADED FOR PARKER COLLEY

The Nanaimo Clippers have acquired (97) forward Parker Colley from the Prince George Spruce Kings in exchange for (97) goalie Evan DeBrouwer.

Last season in Prince George Colley had 12 goals and 15 assists in 56 games.

In two years in the BCHL the Pitt Meadows product has totaled 48 points in 113 games.

Clippers Coach Mike Vandekamp says the 20-year-old will bring veteran experience at the forward position.

“I felt we needed a player with not only Junior A experience, but experience in our league, after some of our veteran guys moved on to the NCAA. I know the family and we’re getting a good character kid,” said Vandekamp.

Evan DeBrouwer moves on after one season in Nanaimo where he posted a 15-23 record with a 3.15 goals against average.

The Clippers organization wishes Evan all the best with his new team.

We would like to welcome Parker to the Clippers family and look forward to seeing him on the ice with his new teammates at Training Camp in August.
