CLIPPERS WITH POINTS IN TEN STRAIGHT AFTER 2-2 TIE WITH GRIZZLIES

Make it ten!
The Clippers have points in ten straight games after a 2-2 tie in Victoria on Friday night.
Taz Burman was fantastic in net facing 50 shots, and Grizzlies goaltender Zach Rose was also sharp as he saw 30 shots from the Clippers.
Victoria scored in the final minute of the first period with a wrist shot from Alex Newhook, and then the game stayed that way until almost the middle of the third.
David Silye tied the game shorthanded but shortly after Justin Michaelian gave the Grizzlies the lead back just after that same Victoria man advantage.
Lucas Vanroboys tied the game at 2-2 as the puck banked off of him from a Brandon Marinelli feed.
Both goalies were tremendous in a very exciting ten minutes of overtime.
Friday’s Three Stars
1) Alex Newhook 1g
2) Taz Burman 48 saves
3) Carter Berger
The Clippers have a record of 6-0-1-3 in their last ten hockey games and sit one point behind the first place Powell River Kings, and one point ahead of the third place Grizzlies in the Island Division standings.
