Nicholas will be joining the Nanaimo Clippers for his first year of junior A Hockey after
successfully graduating from Kent Prep School. McIntyre was a teammate of Mike Domsodi
and both players came highly recommended from all our scouts including Lou Gravel. McIntyre attended a Clipper spring orientation and was very impressive with a strong skating presence, heavy shot and obvious physical demeanor. McIntyre joins a defensive core that is built on size and toughness with a pension for an abrasive style of play. Nic has a real heavy shot combined with accuracy and a quick release. Coach Bestwick, "Nic is another kid who likes to mix it up and make life miserable for his opponent, he will be fun to watch develop." |
