Luc joins the Clippers for his final season of Junior A Hockey after competing for three seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Luc is described as a complete player with the ability to produce offense and is extremely responsible defensively. Luc was recommended to the Clippers by Head Scout Lou Gravel through his Quebec connection. Luc is playing in a top line role and will be a prominent player on the power play utilizing his puck skills, puck protection and instincts to generate scoring chances. Coach Bestwick comments, "Luc is a smoothie with a cerebral intellect for the game. He is one of those players who sometimes appears to be a gear down but he is a real thinker and slows the game to his pace. He will be a valuable asset to us once the adjustment period and familiarization playing a Western Canadian style of hockey sets in." |
